Amazing Lace - Challenge #2:
Your challenge: one exhilarating photograph that shows you engaged in death-, logic-, or sanity-defying lace knitting.
My version of Extreme Knitting? It's not for the faint of heart; the timid; the weak-kneed.
Because, you see, I knit with cats.
Enough said.

Don't forget to try to win a pair of pink handknit socks by sponsoring either me or my little sister for the Avon Breast Cancer walk. We've got less than a month to go, and we've still got about $1,400 to go! Posted by Jenipurr at June 17, 2006 10:21 AMYikes! You're a brave woman! Good luck with your shawl and with keeping it away from your "assistants".
Posted by: OzKnitter at June 16, 2006 10:38 PMI'm so scared for you! Did you see what Chaos did to Cabernet?
Posted by: Sachi at June 16, 2006 11:31 PMYou must knit with catnip-scented yarn. :)
Posted by: Susan at June 17, 2006 09:53 AMLOL! Wow! You have 4 cats there to my two! Yesterday I posted a picture of my cats checking out my still very small Pacific Northwest Shawl. What yarn are you using?
Posted by: Lazuli at June 18, 2006 09:45 AMThe yarn is Jaggerspun, silk and merino blend. And actually I've got *six* cats - but two of them are scaredycats, so we couldn't convince either of them to take part in the photo shoot (grin).
Posted by: Jenipurr at June 18, 2006 11:44 AM6 cats! OMG! You must be a very busy girl! And, I must say, very brave. My one kitty is always into whatever yarn I have just lying around, so don't know what I'd do with 6 cats around! You are one brave and x-treme girl! Great photo!
Posted by: Jen at June 18, 2006 10:54 PMMaybe you could teach the cats to knit?
Posted by: Theresa at June 19, 2006 10:49 PMWow...6!?! I thought my 3 were a challenge. Yet only one really likes to "help" with the knitting and that's The Meezer! Good luck with your Amazing Lace partner...
(((hugs)))
What a great picture. Thanks for sharing, I think you are to much. I mean knitting with cats all over you and a smile to go with it. I try to knit with my three boys right next to me and I get a littled wiered out so I put it down.
