I pushed it to practically the last minute (luckily I don’t have to go to work tomorrow), but I finished the second tiger sock just in time. So here are my socky accomplishments for November.
The circle above includes one pair of Opal Rainforest in Tiger, one pair of Opal Rainforest in Flamingo, one pair of Opal Rainforest in Zebra, and one pair of mystery yarn that I am 99% sure is Opal, in varying stripes of brown.
Wowzer, great circle o’socks! I’m amazed that you got all those done in one month. 🙂
Very impressive circle o’ socks!
I just spied your scarf in Magknits and I love it! Well done.
Just saw your scarf on the December MagKnits. Congratulations!
AWESOME circle of socks! The brown is the Owl colorway, and I may have to pick up some of the Flamingo and Tiger for myself. because AWESOMETASTIC! I saw Counterpoint in the December Magknits, and loved it. My first published pattern was a shadow scarf with a Greek Key in it for my friend Niko (who is very very Greek). It’s a great technique that floors people as to how easy it is to do.
Just saw your scarf on Magknits and was just amazed. I too have made scarves very similar with the shadow knitting technique. I have become enamored with the new panda cub at the National Zoo so I made 4 scarves with his name in them for myself and 3 of the keepers at the zoo. I love wearing mine. You can see pictures at Flickr perrysburger66. I used corel 6 to plot the shadow knitting and it worked very well.
